The WinWin 2020 monthly draws will be held at the offices of Stride Management Corp. 3950 12 Street NE Calgary, Alberta starting at 11:00 AM. The monthly cut-offs and draw dates are detailed in the chart below. Only tickets purchased before Midnight on each of the cutoff dates will be eligible for that draw. All winning tickets will be eligible for all subsequent draws.

The above-mentioned draws are open to any member of the general public wishing to attend.

The winner will be notified in writing by WinWin 50 Staff Lottery; detailing what they have won and where they can claim their prize. Also; the name, city and winning ticket number of the winner will be published on the lottery website site www.winwinstafflottery.ca

In the event that a winning ticket stub lists more than one name, the Licensee will award the prize to the individual whose name appears first on the stub. The Licensee and the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) are not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise between the different individuals.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and must be claimed before the expiration of one year from the date with which the prize was drawn. If any prize remains unclaimed for more than 1 year from the date of the draw, a request will be made to the AGLC for a decision regarding the disbursement of the prize.

Payroll Deduction is only available to employees on the Alberta Health Services Payroll, Covenant Health Payroll Systems & Carewest Payroll Systems.

The lottery is open to the general public; all patients/residents, physicians, staff, and volunteers; which includes all full time, part-time, contract, casual, relief staff, medical staff, residents and interns.

Tickets may be purchased through the following channels:
WinWin tickets available are; 111,100 single tickets at $5 each; 230,385 3 for $10 packs; 144,745 8 for $20 packs and 61,890 15 for $30 packs for a total of 2,888,565 tickets.

There are 578 prizes. All prizes will be drawn in order of least retail value up to the highest retail value. Each month, from a list of eligible tickets there will be a draw for $50,000 plus $5,000. The draw order is as follows; Any Loyalty Draws, Super Draws (outlined in the table below) will be conducted first followed by the $5,000 Monthly cash draw; then the $50,000 Monthly cash draw. There is one (1) Loyalty Draw, and four hundred (400) Super Draw Prizes. There are 152 Second Chance Draw Prizes. The Second Chance Draw prizes will be drawn last on the final draw date of January 28, 2021 and all ticket holders that have not previously won a prize in the 2020 WinWin Staff Lottery will be eligible for this draw.

The final Grand prize draw is for $250,000, this prize will be drawn January 28, 2021, and all tickets purchased before the sales period cut-off, 11PM December 31, 2019 will be eligible.

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by Stride Management Corp. and under licensing approval by the licensing body, the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). Each prize draw will be conducted in accordance with the approved Raffle Terms and Conditions as put forth by the AGLC. Draws are conducted using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system, certified and approved by the AGLC. All winning tickets will be eligible for all subsequent draws EXCEPT for the Second Chance Draws in which previous winners will be excluded.

Payroll deduction forms must be received by the ticket processing centre to be valid. Once received the ticket purchase amounts will be withheld according to the detailed eligibility guidelines which can be found at Winwinstafflottery.ca website. By signing the Payroll Deduction Form employees agree to have the amounts designated deducted from each pay cheque until such time that the employee is no longer eligible or has officially opted out of the payroll deduction program.

All tickets will be controlled by committee members and are only available by mail, phone, Internet and the Winwinstafflottery.ca website. Ticket Request Forms will be collected weekly, with tickets processed and mailed by the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre. Ticket Request Forms must be received at the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre to be valid. All sets of multiple tickets must contain the same information.

Contest guidelines prohibit the following people from purchasing tickets in the lottery: Executive members of the Calgary Health Trust, Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation; Board of Trustees & Governors; the Lottery Manager, Employees of Stride Management Corp. and immediate family members of all the above and anyone under the age of 18. The Licensee will advise all purchasers not to include the name of anyone under the age of 18 on the ticket due to the requirements of the Public Trustee Act.

The lottery committee’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

The lottery will be promoted through the Winwinstafflottery.ca website, posters, hospital newsletters, voice mail announcements and email announcements.

If any purchased ticket has been entered for any draw, no refund will be issued.

Only upon demonstrating extraordinary circumstances to the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission will the Licensee make a request for a draw date extension.
